Jazz Francesca Tandoi Short Portugal Tour



The high standards and qualities of Dutch music conservatories are worldwide known and responsible for their famous reputation. Talented musicians from all over the world attempt to gain a chance for acceptance.

As so did the Italian piano player/singer Francesca Tandoi.

Francesca is borne in Rome/Italy and plays piano since she was 12 years old. Her biggest source of inspiration has been Oscar Peterson. Francesca started studying at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in Holland in 2009. Early 2014 she had a very successful concert in Switzerland where also her first CD has been recorded on the Japanese label Atelier Sawano. In December 2014 she started her first Asian Tour with concerts in Malaysia, Singapore and Japan. Tandoi is an international musician and with her ´Francesca Tandoi European Trio´ she recorded three CD´s “For Elvira”, “Something Blue” and the most recent “Magic 3”.

She has played amongst others also with the famous Monty Alexander. He spoke about her the words “Francesca Tandoi is a supremely tastefully swinging pianist – she can play! Her vocals are exquisite, her unique accent add to the charm of the interpretations. I believe she’ll be making beautiful sounds for a long time …”.

Francesca Tandoi will be accompanied by the Portuguese jazz musicians Miguel Menezes on double bass and Pedro Pita Silva on drums.
